Wrinkle Reducing Treatment
Wrinkle reducing treatments are a popular and effective solution for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These treatments work by relaxing the muscles that cause facial expressions, which in turn smooths out the skin and softens the look of wrinkles. Commonly used for areas such as the forehead, around the eyes, and between the brows, these non-invasive procedures are quick and require little to no downtime.

What are Wrinkle Reducing Treatments and How Do They Work?
What are wrinkle reducing treatments?
Wrinkle reducing treatments are non-invasive procedures aimed at minimising the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the muscles that cause them, leaving the skin smoother and with a more youthful appearance.
How do Wrinkle reducing treatments work?
These treatments temporarily reduce the movement of the muscles that contribute to dynamic wrinkles, like those on the forehead, around the eyes, and between the brows, resulting in a noticeable reduction in lines and creases.
How long do the results of Wrinkle reducing treatments last?
The results usually last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on factors such as your skin type, the treated area, and how your body reacts to the treatment. Scheduling regular follow-up sessions can help maintain and prolong the effects.
Commonly Treated Areas
• Frown Lines: Located between the eyebrows, often known as “11 lines.”
• Crow’s Feet: Fine lines around the outer corners of the eyes, also referred to as smile lines or eye wrinkles.
• Forehead Lines: Horizontal lines that appear across the forehead above the eyebrows.
• Brow Lift: Enhances the shape and height of the eyebrows for a more youthful look.
• Bunny Lines: Fine wrinkles on the sides of the nose, typically visible when smiling or scrunching the face.
• Gummy Smile: Reduces the visibility of excessive gum exposure when smiling.
• Lip Flip: Slightly lifts the upper lip for a fuller, more defined smile.
• DAO (Downturned Mouth): Targets the muscles that cause a “sad” or downturned mouth, helping to create a more neutral or lifted appearance.
• Chin: Smooths out chin dimples or “orange peel” texture, providing a more even look to the chin area.

The filler is carefully administered using fine needles to target specific areas of the lips, restoring fullness or enhancing their natural contours. The results are typically immediate, with minimal downtime, and can last from six months to a year, depending on factors such as individual metabolism.
How do I prepare for this treatment?
To prepare for your treatment, it’s recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and large amounts of alcohol for 24 hours beforehand, as these can heighten the risk of bruising. Additionally, please refrain from taking aspirin and Vitamin E for one week prior to your appointment.
