What are wrinkle reducing treatments?

Wrinkle reducing treatments are non-invasive procedures aimed at minimising the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the muscles that cause them, leaving the skin smoother and with a more youthful appearance.

How do Wrinkle reducing treatments work?

These treatments temporarily reduce the movement of the muscles that contribute to dynamic wrinkles, like those on the forehead, around the eyes, and between the brows, resulting in a noticeable reduction in lines and creases.

The results usually last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on factors such as your skin type, the treated area, and how your body reacts to the treatment. Scheduling regular follow-up sessions can help maintain and prolong the effects.

• Frown Lines: Located between the eyebrows, often known as “11 lines.”

• Crow’s Feet: Fine lines around the outer corners of the eyes, also referred to as smile lines or eye wrinkles.

To prepare for your treatment, it’s recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and large amounts of alcohol for 24 hours beforehand, as these can heighten the risk of bruising. Additionally, please refrain from taking aspirin and Vitamin E for one week prior to your appointment.

Before your treatment, it is advised to refrain from consuming alcohol or taking anti-inflammatory medications 24 to 48 hours in advance, as these can increase the risk of bruising and swelling. Additionally, it’s best to avoid any major dental procedures or invasive skin treatments in the area to be treated.

Treatment may be postponed if you are feeling unwell, under 18 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding, planning to travel internationally within two weeks of the treatment, or if you have an active cold sore in the treatment area.

How Frequently is Treatment Required?

REJURAN® is not like conventional filler or laser treatments. It works by activating the skin's own regenerative ability to restore its own collagen structure and increase skin elasticity. This allows your skin to recover with a course of 3 treatments with intervals of 2-3weeks between sessions, followed by a treatment every 6-12 months to nurture a healthy skin condition.
